A day of practice and community to help you shine from the inside out
Join Centered Soul Retreats at the Cabin at Sunnybrook for a glorious one-day retreat facilitated by Eliza Wing and Megan O’Bryan. This retreat includes two all-levels yoga practices (one outdoors under the big Oak Tree, weather permitting), healthy whole foods lunch and snacks, workshop and discussion, juice tastings, chair massages and time to breathe in and appreciate the beautiful outdoors. Join us to reflect, heal, grow and dream in a peaceful and tranquil setting, the 130-acre Sunnybrook Trout Club.
The day will start with juice tastings, breathing in the property, and connecting with others at a 9 AM check-in. There will be a morning all-levels yoga practice followed by an al fresco lunch created by Intentional Eats Cleveland. A workshop, afternoon yoga practice and discussion will follow lunch. You will also be given some free time for walking, meditation and written reflection. The day will end with a sparking drink toast and a commitment to continuing practices that lead to cultivating compassion and kindness for yourself and others.
This day is designed to be a powerful stand-alone experience or can be preceded by our Saturday, August 4 retreat “Cultivating Compassion.” A $20 discount will be applied to those registering for both retreats.

Megan is the founder of Centered Soul and serves as a retreat facilitator. Carving out time and space to reflect, meditate, heal and dream has impacted Megan's life profoundly. Megan's professional background is in leading organizations focused on social change. Currently she is proud to be leading the Cuyahoga Community College Foundation.
Eliza Wing is the Chief Communications Officer of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. She has held various leadership positions in the news and information business for the last 25 years, starting with being the founding editor of Cleveland.com and then its president and CEO for 14 years.
It was during her tenure at Cleveland.com (big job, two small children) that she felt she needed to find something to keep her peace.
She began a daily Insight meditation practice 18 years ago and has gradually deepened her practice and her study. In 2015 she began training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). MBSR is the practice started by Jon Kabat-Zinn in the late 70’s. It is based on Buddhist wisdom and techniques but uses a western approach. The training is centered out of the University of Massachusetts General Hospital and has been subjected to considerable research which has shown direct benefits of mindfulness practice for decreasing anxiety, reactivity, stress and insomnia. Wing teaches mindfulness class series informed by MBSR in the Cleveland area as well as private workshops.
